Guard Training

At CHASE PROTECTIVE SERVICES our people are our product. So we ensure our guards get the best training in the industry, our head of instruction is a retired Police Sergeant and former SWAT Officer. He has created a strict teaching regiment based on real world experiences from his years on the LAPD.

A list of the curriculum and licenses that all guards must received prior to being released for duty as listed below:

· Baton and Pepper Spray Training: This is a basic class that enables the guards to receive their State Baton and Chemical Spray license.

· Advanced Baton and Chemical Spray: This course is specifically designed by Chase and goes far beyond the Standard level training deemed necessary by the State.

· Handcuffing, Advanced handcuffing and False Arrest Prevention: This course teaches our guards when and how to make a proper arrest. This education decreases the probability of the guard making a false arrest or sustaining an injury to himself or the suspect allowing us to be one of the few security companies who permit their guards to make arrests on behalf of your property.

· Patrol and Advanced Patrol: This course teaches our guards how to properly patrol your property and what information to document. The course focuses on the duties and responsibilities required to perform a professional patrol. It gives particular emphasis on attitude, dependability, moral and many other issues that help us to better patrol your property.

· First Aid, CPR and AED: All guards receive these training and certifications by a licensed American Red Cross instructor.
